Tasting Notes:
Colour: violet red.
Nose: A savoury bouquet perfumed with fragrant black cherry and nuances of earthiness, light spice and sherbet.
Palate: A pure expression of Cabernet Franc with upfront flavours of black cherries and fresh herbaceous notes with silky tannins. A refreshing and vivid wine.
Vintage conditions: A late, cold and wet winter filled up the soil profiles. Cooler than normal soil temperatures and spring conditions allowed for even budding. The weather was favourable for flowering wiht less wind than normal. A cool March enhanced flavour retention and delayed harvest by two weeks.
