The foremost feature of the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley appellation is the outcrop of weathered Granite soil that is exclusive in the Cape South Coast.
A vintage of concentration and layers of flavour unfolding. A reservoir of black fruits and liquorice animated with lively spice characters of white and black pepper. Impressions of graphite, fennel seed, and splintered stone render finer detail. The tannin structure is fine and polished, framing the dense flavour in to a long and savoury finish.
