100% Pinotage from a single terraced block on the foothills of the Simonsberg Mountain.
TASTING NOTES:
This wine displays a dense red core with a vibrant ruby rim. Aromas of red and black berry coulis with hints of ripe plum and baking spice emanatefrom the glass initially. These are intertwined with barrel derived aromas of fresh vanilla and dark cocoa with subtle hints of dried porcini mushroom.
The palate has wonderful fruit intensity and sucrosity in the best sense. There is a bright acidity and the tannins are pleasantly mouth filling.
A bold wine made in small quantities.
